This includes health and social care information, which is special category data and receives additional protection. We collect this information because we need it to meet your needs and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations as a provider.
For website visitors, we collect limited technical information through cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

Our lawful bases for processing are set out in the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR, and include performing our contract with you, meeting our legal obligations, and providing health and social care.
Who we share it with
We share information about your care only with those who need to know: health professionals (such as GPs, district nurses and hospitals), Local Authorities (including social services and housing departments), any relevant person identified by you (such as someone holding Lasting Power of Attorney), and our staff. We will not share your information with anyone else unless required by law.
We do not use your information for marketing and never share it with third parties for marketing — see Marketing Preferences.
How long we keep it
We keep records in line with the retention requirements of our regulators, including the Care Quality Commission, the NHS Records Management Code of Practice, and Local Authority contractual requirements.
